Back in May my brothers Joseph and Jacob, my cousin Christopher, and Joseph's girlfriend Jasmin made the journey to Setenil de las Bodegas to visit us! From there we traveled all around Europe together.
In Setenil we walked all around the town showing them our favorite views, favorite hikes, and had tapas in our favorite cave bars.
While I was working Ben took everyone to Ronda for a day.
They hiked down to see the famous bridge, went into the old church, and climbed down to the Secret Mines.
Soon after they arrived, I had my last day at work. The kids made me a giant banner saying "we will miss you" and I received many gift boxes of candy and olive oil, and many, many besitos. Overall my first year as an Auxiliar de Conversation was a crazy, wonderful experience, and I definitely learned so much not only about being a teacher, but also about the Spanish culture.
