On Christmas Eve we took off for Copenhagen, Denmark. We spent Christmas day at Tivoli Gardens, an amusement park that has been open since 1843! It is the second-oldest amusement park in the world. All decked out for Christmas, Tivoli did not disappoint.
They had these trays of burning coals all about so that you can go up and warm your hands. The guinea hens were taking advantage of the warmth and hanging out underneath!
They had a lot of cool birds all around, such as this white peacock and these pretty ducks.
We went back at night to see the lights and the firework show.
The light display in "chinatown" was absolutely magical.
They also had a fountain and light show on the lake set to the Nutcracker.
