Sunset

One evening we experienced an especially beautiful sunset out in the countryside near Setenil.

Cadiz

We had to go to Cadiz, the capital of our province, to pick up my new Spanish identity card. The weather was chillier here than in Malaga but we still enjoyed some beach time.

Malaga

We spent the day on the beach in Malaga soaking up the warm weather.

 Sand art...

Fake Snow!

Ubrique

Ubrique is a big town in the Sierra de Grazalema. Here we hiked on an old Roman road to a town called Benoacaz.

We  went of the path for a little ways and stumbled upon this creepy haunted place.

Yuki terrified this poor heard of sheep.

And we met some baby goats!

And a pig.
After our hike we got delicious pizza with these cool little pizza cutters.

Ubrique was all lit up for Christmas.

We stayed the night in Ubrique and woke up to some low clouds over the town.

Grazalema

This last week Ben and I rented a car and had some adventures! We started off in the Parque Natural Sierra de Grazalema.
Some sheep blocking the road.
For some reason all the trees were missing their bark on their lower halves.

We parked in Grazalema (the town) and hiked out from there.

Our first wild mountain goat sighting.

A fairy cirlcle!

In the town plaza they were having a birds of prey show.
